So many times before a shoot I am asked what should we wear?...So I thought I would do a little post to give some helpful hints...First and for most....please be yourself. Don't go out and buy something that you will only wear for pictures and that really isn't you. If you like the color, wear it. Also realize that the photo will probably be in your home and not in a fashion magazine (hate to be the one to tell you this), so wear something that you like and will look good in your home and that you feel good in. Another pointer is please coordinate but don't match (unless that is what you are going for...to each there own, remember this is your photo and I am just giving advice). Layers are always great and can add texture. Also, accessories are always a girls best friend and add so much to a photo. Also for those into fashion and for those that know nothing about it, you can always use the color wheel to add great contrast to your outfits. For instance if you are wearing a purple shirt know that accessorising with yellows (because they are on the opposite side of the color wheel) would look awesome in a photo because the colors will pop in the photo! Using opposite colors from the color wheel together add so much in a photo....trust me! So to conclude, you can never go wrong as long as you like it...I am just there to capture a moment in time and it is you that makes the outfit!
